"And on the 7th day the Lord listened to Eyehategod in his pants, and it was better than church I tell ye! Bristol Metal Quarter’s gonna be practically dripping from Believe In Nothing’s desolate nihilistic sludgery, Black Groove’s bass-heavy doom-damaged scummery and Cabira’s hefty post-metal cinematics. 50 person filthpit inside FFO: Dystopia, Thou, Beggar, Primitive Man, Chat Pile."

Sunday 29th March 2026 - Sludge Sunday V
BELIEVE IN NOTHING have just completed a lengthy UK tour on the back of their recent release 'Rot' (Church Road Records) and return here for another opportunity to witness their captivating, unique and compelling live show. The band, who hail from Eastbourne and Edinburgh, combine blackened sludge, noise and doomy elements, and create a visceral soundscape that few can achieve.
BLACK GROOVE head along the coast from Brighton/Eastbourne and bring a vicious offering of doomy sludge interspersed with barking hardcore. They released their blistering affair 'Low End Scum' in 2024 and continue to grow in stature throughout the underground swamp.
VERMINTHRONE were forced to pull out of a previous Sludge Sunday due to transport issues - but we can now welcome them as they bring their sludge metal grooves across from Buckinghamshire.
CABIRIA - this London three piece bring an ecclectic mix of instrumental post-rock, monstrous stoner doom riffs and a healthy dose of experimentation. Expect the unpredictable.
