Ghost Notes at The Haunted Bookshop

A gig on Sunday 30th August. The event starts at 19:00.

Join us at the Haunted Bookshop in Stokes Croft for the next Ghost Notes Session! Hosted by JuJu.

Ghost Notes originated as a songwriting circle by alt-rock artist Juju, now evolving into an intimate live experience. Come gather with a connected, curious audience. No distractions, no production thrills—just face to face with raw artistry.

Artists:

Faye Dolle

Faye Dolle is a Dutch-French twentysomething with the sort of pure voice that favours breathy, close-up intimacy. Whose self-penned songs - some lush and sparkling, others sharpened to a knife edge - come strafed with orchestral flow, cathedral-like grandeur, and righteous anthemic grit.

Olive Haigh

Dream-folk musician making ethereal songs. Sweet, sinister and strange.

Worm1D

“Wynn Cooper's first dream is to be a novelist, but she has always found difficulty in stringing sentences together. Her second dream is to write a memoir, but her memories are largely inaccessible due to a childhood onset of absent-mindedness. For these reasons, she writes confessional poetry to express her emotions. She is also plagued day-to-day by melodies that come into her head while she's showering. These two things sometimes happen at the same time, and a song comes out. These are those songs.”

Note: Alcohol will not be served, but BYOB is welcome! Tea, however, will be available.

Entry requirements: 18+
