What the Autumn Knows: A seasonal connection workshop at The Haven

A event on Saturday 24th October. The event starts at 14:15.

Join us for a nourishing Autumnal afternoon - where we’ll come together to tend to our seasonal selves, and notice what is unfolding in the landscape around us, and within us…

This is an invitation to honour a time of transitions, and lean into the wisdom of Autumn.

*This is a seasonal invitation to…*

- Explore our experiences of Autumn - noticing what is happening in the landscape around us, and within us.

* Connect to the qualities of the season, and embrace the wisdom or gifts it may hold.\ * Honour the transitions taking place in our lives - listening for what is calling for encouragement and care over the coming months.

In short, we hope this can be an opportunity to pause, connect, and soak up whatever flavour of Autumn energy you need..

*What’s involved?*

- Facilitated prompts, guided nature connection activities, and opportunities for individual and shared reflections

- Unique creative rituals to honour and embrace the gifts of Autumn

- Opportunity for good company, connection, and cups of tea

*The Space:*
It can be difficult to find spaces in the city that offers a natural sanctuary - a place for relaxation, 'getting away', and immersion in the natural world...

The Haven - a community land space in East Bristol - offers exactly this. Fit with round house, fire pits, and an outdoor kitchen. This is where we will be gathering!

*Accessibility:*
- With regret, the space is not fully suitable for wheelchair use
- There are pathways into and around much of the space, although the ground is fairly uneven.
- There are compost toilets on site, with stepped access.
- There might be some invitations to move and explore the space, but movement can also be tailored to your needs/mobillity/energy on the day!
- We do have seating options, but if you'd like to bring your own comfy campchair, pillows, cushion, or blanket please do!
