This March we've invited two of Europe's most raucous selectors to take the reins underneath Bristol's most loved police station. We'll be packing out the Island with a ton of wobbly lights 'n' FX for a maximum sensual overload (courtesy of the wonderful Greenshift Productions).

DJ Marcelle (aka. Another Nice Mess)

As far as festival highlights go, watching DJ Marcelle whip Dekmantel into a frenzy is easily up there as one of our most memorable dance-floor experiences. Loaded with a 23kg record bag, Marcelle welds sounds together between three turntables. Her genre defying style emulates a truly punkish attitude towards dance music, subverting all expectations with an expansive variety of sonic material. She is truly an inspiring DJ and we could not be more gassed to have her make this party.

Ploy (Timedance, Hessle Audio, Hemlock)

Ploy has been responsible for some of the most impressive productions over the last five years. His records blend percussive polyrhythmic breakdowns with a variety of outer-worldly sounds, a style which one could describe as "wonky U.K bass". 'Ramos' and 'Garys' stand out as two of the artists most impressive tracks, and still continue tear up dance-floors around the world. As a DJ, his selections continue in much the same way, tripping in and out between sassy afro-beats and fast rolling techno, with plenty of dubby mashups in-between.
