Room 237 presents Silent Servant at The Island
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Alongside the likes of Regis and Function, Silent Servant (Official) has been a driving force behind two of the 21st century’s most forward thinking and influential techno-orientated labels, Sandwell District and Jealous Gods. Amongst his label output, his DJ sets and his own productions, clear influences of EBM, post-punk and big room craft a unique style of darkly melodic, dystopian techno. Room 237 Bristol will be bringing him to The Island for a night of dystopian techno, robotic EBM and darkly Tickets: hdfst.uk/E44482"

A clubnight held at The Island on Friday 4th May. The event starts at 23:00.

We return to The Island to proudly welcome Los Angeles' inimitable Silent Servant for his Bristol debut. As a member of the now defunct Sandwell District, he helped force the hand of change in the scene with uncompromising ability across over 12 years of releases. An appreciation of warehouse techno, industrial noise and post-punk are evident in his music, yet challenged and reworked to form a uniquely modern style.
