A
clubnight
held at The Island
on Friday 6th March. The event starts at 22:00.
After our last sold out show at The Island, we return for our 4th episode of the series and the first dance of 2020. To celebrate International Women’s Day weekend we feature five unbelievably talented women slaying hard and hypnotic techno in the depths of the Prison Cells. We've invited a very special guest to join us, Moscow-born and Copenhagen based, Anastasia Kristensen
Anastasia Kristensen [Bristol debut]
The once-rising, now-risen star is a whirlwind of emboldened intensity that can be felt equally through her productions and DJ sets. Kristensen is a poster-child for techno’s lean out of its associated black hole, and into a spectrum of colours, textures and light. After years of sharpening her reputation as a resident at Culture Box, and in particular Mainstream, one of Copenhagen's few LGBTQ nights, she now holds a packed international DJ schedule among clubs like Fabric London, Berghain, Bassiani or FOLD.
Support on the night sees Helena Markos fresh from her sets in Berlin and Zurich, performing a b2b set with long time collaborator Luce - DJ. Founder and resident IRENE completes the line up
Installations: The laser beam bar & strobes operating throughout the night
