Introduction To Professional Wrestling 2 Hour Workshop at The Island
£7.50

A event held at The Island on Friday 8th May. The event starts at 18:30.

This is a 2 hour workshop, taught by working professional wrestlers Chuck Mambo and Kyri, designed for people interested in becoming professional wrestlers!

See the workshop as a taster session for if you have ever wanted to step into the ring!

We will cover: Lock Ups and Technical Wrestling, Rolls and Break Falls, Strikes, Pins and Submissions, and Character Work and Promos.
This training covers wrestling fundamentals and will be done on mats not in a wrestling ring.

We suggest wearing comfortable clothing for sports but if you wanna bring a mask or a cape you feel free! And character ideas are WELCOME!
As it is on a sprung dance floor the training will be done with no shoes on. Please bring a drink as we will be getting ACTIVE!

The workshop is designed for people who have never wrestled before so it will be physical but also adaptable so that all levels of fitness and all shapes of body are welcome! The workshop will be a safe and inclusive space for everybody so please bring a good attitude!

Chuck Mambo has wrestled for 12 years for companies including Riot Cabaret, Attack Pro Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Progress Wrestling, German Wrestling Federation, Pro Wrestling Chaos, The Wrestling Revolver and TNA Wrestling. He is also the co-founder of Pro Wrestling Ceasefire.

Kyri has wrestled for 4 years with over 450 matches in 6 different countries in that time! Having trained at Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave wrestling academy, the NJPW LA Dojo and New Wave Wrestling he’s wrestled for companies such as NJPW, Attack, WXW, Pro Wrestling Chaos and Pro Wrestling Ceasefire.
