"Public Affair’s impeccable taste in sub-heavy antics continues with Dublin’s Woozy heroine EMA, packing deadly 140 hybrids in a b2b madness with Surusinghe’s gritty hard-drum futurism. One for the genre-agnostics who wanna get weird to dembow, IDM, trance, baile and amapiano in a big dancefloor blender."

A
clubnight
held at The Island
on Friday 9th February. The event starts at 22:00.
Bursting into the New Year with a celebratory bringing together of some of club music’s most celebrated purveyors of bass weight, pulling from all mutated corners of dance music’s orbit.
EMA [Woozy]
Surusinghe [Steel City Dance Discs/AD93]
Coe [All Centre/Woozy]
Caragh [The National Trust/Noods Radio]
Monika Taneska [Public Affair/Noods Radio]
Our next event sees Aussie born, genre-bending producer, Surusinghe go toe-to-toe with Dublin’s finest and Woozy commander in chief, EMA, for a set destined to unite the dancefloor with their rigorously curated catalogues of energetic and warped rhythmic low-end.
Support on the night comes from All Centre affiliate Coe bringing his illustrious brand of leftfield club tracks into another raucous b2b with Public Affair resident Monika Taneska; and local Bristol talent Caragh who comes off the back of a heavy run of shows in 2023, supporting the likes of Amaliah, Elena Colombi and Pearson Sound.
