RIOT ACT International Women's Day Special with Jessica Fostekew and more!

We created RIOT ACT to celebrate the causes of Joy, Togetherness and DIY creative brilliance at a time when Injustice, Division and Struggle are on the rise. With International Women's Day just around the corner on March 8th, we thought it was only right to do our bit to honour Women worldwide by bringing you a powerhouse lineup of Women creative Heroes in a bespoke, eclectic night of celebration to remember!

Spearheading our International Women's Day Special is one of the most exciting and dynamic fresh forces in UK Comedy. Stand Up Sensation Jessica Fostekew headlines our night with characteristic comic genius flair!
Powerful, vital and fiercely funny, Jessica's credits in arenas as diverse as Stand Up, Acting, Writing for TV and Podcasting leave no doubt as to her status as one of the leading creative voices in Britain today. Come on down for a Masterclass in Comedy and Girl Power like no other!
Joining her is Bristolian Comedy Legend Amy Mason, whose prodigious rise in the worlds of live stand up and internet stardom has brought laughter to millions, and put Bristol on the map for new audiences the world over.
Bristolian Poetry Hero Muneera Pilgrim, whose work shines light on and beautifies the truths that are all too often hidden and maligned by the mainstream narratives of the world today. A Poet, Cultural Producer, Writer and Broadcaster, here is a Master Storyteller, with all the powers of wit, empathy and visionary imagination at her command in a celebrated and tireless pursuit of justice and empowerment for globally non-centered people.
Bristolian Hero Poet Deasy Bamford, who grapples with the demons of society , civilisation and love , the love of nature and the rolling seasons .Writing in Bristol since 2008 ,inspired by the 8 yr old young rappers in the community she worked with, she developed her style, calling herself a Granny Rapstar.
The events of the day often elicit , talking, walking rhythms that touch on the essence of ideas, rhyming couplets tripping each other up, jostling with blank verse and the no verses of the universe.
And RIOT ACT Queen Jacqueline Jamal raises her microphone to host a night of unforgettable high-octane fun!
