The doors of Queering Masculinity at The Island Gallery open to the public - the gallery abounds with visual work reflecting on the ‘male’ form and how art can explore and challenge notions of gender performance, intimacy and armour today. Projections of Daniel’s digital workflow paired with ambient digital soundscapes are on show in the dark room annex. Brook and Daniel layer their artworks with live music performances that re-contextualise their traditional pieces - Brook performs as Debra the Drag Zebra; Daniel transforms into Drawn by DeWolfe, an alias plucked from his sketchbooks and landing in the gallery with alien impact.
