Laurel Halo has long been a Timedance favourite. Her music transcends easy definitions, but consistently boasts an exploration of creativity, designed for both in and out of the club. Her latest project, the 'Dust' album for Hyperdub received wide critical acclaim, combining Laurel's voice alongside influences from a range of genres.
Her DJing reflects this genre spanning approach, and for our money, she is one of the most underrated around right now. Broken techno, house and worldwide bass sounds are mixed together seamlessly, a classy and unique approach.
Warming up proceedings will be Parris. Hot off the back of his excellent release for Trilogy Tapes, as well as a remix for Sampha, he is set to have another big year ahead. As a DJ he is always armed with a stack of dubs from the finest UK headz, some minus degree!
