A
clubnight
held at The Island
on Saturday 17th June. The event starts at 22:00pm.
"I want this one to be all about the music. No distractions."
Woven are showcasing the first minimal, dub and techno set from the man who helped lay the blueprint for many of the sounds Bristol became known for worldwide in the 90s.
As an influential member of the Wild Bunch in the late 80s when sound system culture was at its peak, DJ Nature spent his formative years in music DJing among some of Bristol's finest musicians. During the 90s DJ Nature then took a different direction to those around him and began a career producing house music, refining his sound in New York City.
Two decades later DJ Nature sounds more contemporary than ever, never having turned his back on the bass driven sounds of Bristol while embracing the eclectic influences found in the cultural capital of the US. It's a combination that has brought him a hugely dedicated fan base.
Now, back in his hometown, he will be doing a very special minimal, techno and dub show for Woven on 17th June at the Old Police Cells.
As ever we will be providing crystal clear sound through a 20k Turbo Sound rig, as well as atmopsheric custom built lighting from the engineers at Potentialdifference_.
