A clubnight held at The Island on Saturday 21st November. The event starts at 23:00.
Forma is honoured to join forces with Nerve Collect this November for a special collaboration at The Island.
We’re really excited to bring this one together. Nerve Collect share an interest in the spaces between genres, and in artists who take familiar club music somewhere unexpected without losing their physicality. For this one, founder Identified Patient heads to Bristol alongside label signees Dual Monitor.
Founded by Identified Patient and Gamma Intel, Nerve Collect has established a distinct voice within the Dutch underground, specialising in their own flavour of “anxious music for the restless mind”. Their output moves freely between techno, house, breaks, bass and more experimental club forms, with releases that feel strange, detailed and difficult to place, but always connected to the dancefloor.
Identified Patient [Nerve Collect, Dekmantle]
Amsterdam-based producer and DJ Identified Patient, real name Job Veerman, is known for high-energy, unpredictable sets that move between techno, electro, breaks, acid, dub, jungle and more experimental forms.
His productions carry the same restless energy, combining dystopian atmospheres, heavy basslines, sharp percussion and cerebral sound design. His releases on Pinkman, Brokntoys and Dekmantel’s UFO series have established a distinctive sound that is difficult to pin down.
As the founder of Nerve Collect alongside Gamma Intel, Identified Patient has also built a platform around similarly unconventional club music. With major appearances at Dekmantel and De School, Identified Patient has become a defining presence in the Dutch underground. His sets are built around tension, rapid transitions and wildly varied selections, held together by a strong sense of momentum. Buckle up!
Dual Monitor [Nerve Collect, TraTraTrax, SPE:C]
London duo Fliss Mayo & Zebb Dempster, better known as Dual Monitor, bring an equally eclectic approach to the dancefloor. Their productions move between UK bass, techno, breaks, electro and experimental club music, with a constantly shifting approach to rhythm and sound design.
With releases on Nerve Collect, Rinse, TraTraTrax, SPE, Elicit, Amity and Obligated, alongside a series of self-released dubs, they’ve built a catalogue that refuses to sit still. 2026 has seen them take their sound further afield, with shows across Europe, the US and the UK.
We return to The Island for another night in its stripped-back former police station, with AMBER AUDIO on sound and bespoke lighting from Occyx.
Forma is built around artists pushing club music somewhere slightly unfamiliar while keeping a connection to the physicality of the dancefloor. This collaboration with Nerve Collect is a natural extension of that.
