A event held at The Island on Saturday 28th September. The event starts at 19:30.


Doors at 7pm, with the performance starting at 7:30pm. Free soft drinks available in the space. The show will then be followed by a short Q&A session, after which the audience will be invited to leave feedback via QR code or sticky notes. Girlhood on T is a spoken word theatre piece in which two trans/non-binary people discuss their experiences of girlhood, transness and masculinity from the safety of a bedroom. Featuring costume changes, lip-syncing, and an informative presentation on a breast condition, the work aims to give audiences an insight into a little corner of the transmasculine/butch/non-binary experience.
