A clubnight held at The Island on Saturday 4th October. The event starts at 23:00.

Welcome to Etiquette:
Bristol's New FLINTA+ Dancefloor.

Etiquette is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space for FLINTA+ individuals to experience organic experimental trance, techno and alternative, ethereal dance music.

With representative lineups, affordable tickets for FLINTA+ individuals, and a commitment to body positivity, we aim to cultivate an environment that highlights diverse talent and fosters community, focusing on platforming artists underrepresented in this sound.

For our first edition we are beyond excited to invite olesia, co-founder of London’s *FLINTA label, event and mix series Technomate (tm8.club). They single-handedly bring powerhouse energy and initiative to all endeavours under their name.

As an advocate for diversity and queer representation across all aspects of their creative work and
day-to-day life, olesia rejects rigid ideas around gender, sexuality and archaic notions within the music
industry. We feel their beliefs and drive perfectly embody Etiquette and what we want it to become.

Joining the bill is Welsh native and Red Waxxx label head, R.E.D. She has delivered memorable and diverse sets at UNFOLD, Creatures and Fabric to spellbinding effect.

R.E.D's taste has no limitations - spanning multiple genres from leftfield techno to minimal and beyond with an affinity for the mystical and the mind-boggling. She's also fashioned energetic and explorative mixes on The Lot Radio, Afterthought and more recently FITF.

Fusing polyrhythmic pulses with sculptural low-end pressure, Occyx carves a kinetic path through club futurism. Rooted in jazz improv and tempered with precision sound design, they stride deftly across leftfield bass, hypnotic techno, and ambient breaks.

Etiquette resident and founding member of EARTHWORK, the groundbreaking collective transforming outdoor dance events in Bristol, Occyx is at the forefront of a new era in electronic music. Their performances are rapturous and ritualistic, effortlessly merging leftfield techno, deconstructed trance and otherworldly braindance.

We are so excited to bring this space to Bristol and look forward to seeing you all on the 4th of October to join us in the dance!
