Parent and Child "The Snowman" themed fundraising Dance workshop at The Island
Pay what you can - full fees go to our designated charity

A event held at The Island on Sunday 7th December. The event starts at 15:00.

Ever seen the animation of Raymond Briggs Snowman? Then you will have felt that prickle down the spine and a thrill that makes you gasp as the little boy and his snowman take one foot, then another and then take off completely "Walking in the Air" - this is the experience we plan to bring to all our workshop participants!

There'll be rolling around on the floor while we make our snowmen (as acrobatically or not as our bodies oblige), some fruity salsa as we try out different fruit noses, a bit of street when we rev up the engine to try out the motorbike and of course it doesn't end with Walking in the Air as we have snowmen and snowwomen from all around the world to meet in our adventure to Lapland, as well as a little surprise twist on the traditional ending when we get home.

This is a workshop to put the fun into fundraising and thanks to the Island's generous support in kind, all proceeds will go to All Hands & Hearts to support their Hurricane Melissa Relief work (https://allhandsandhearts.org/our-work/programs/hurricane-melissa-relief). No minimum or maximum ages or ability - everyone's invited to join us as we go "Walking in the Air"!
