CMYK: A Celebration at The Island

A event held at The Island on Thursday 23rd July. The event starts at 18:00.

Opening night from 6pm-9:30pm on Thursday the 23rd of July, open for exhibition 10am-6pm Friday 24th- Sunday 28th.
We welcome you to join some of CMYK, UWE's recent Illustration BA graduates, for a night of multi-disciplinary art. The Island gallery will host a selection of 28 artists and illustrators, with everything from projection, digital media, traditional painting, collage, sculpture, children's books and more! Each artist will be showcasing a small selection of their work, alongside prints, books and stickers available to buy in our gift shop. Your support in the form of a donation is greatly appreciated but not required, this exhibition is for all! (Donations given will be equality split between all artists and go towards covering print/fabrication costs as well as helping us set up our next step post-uni) #artspaceevents

Accessibility: Please note that our gallery space is located up two flights of stairs and is not currently wheelchair accessible. We are actively working to improve accessibility and appreciate your patience as we do so. Seating is available in the gallery for visitors who need to rest. We warmly welcome assistance dogs, and our staff is on hand to offer support where possible. To help plan your visit, a 3D walkthrough of our building is available on our website at artspace.uk/venue/the-island, which is ideal if you'd like to familiarise yourself with the space beforehand. If you have specific access requirements or would like to discuss your visit in advance, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] — we're happy to help
