Fish Tank - Open Mic Night at The Island

A event held at The Island on Wednesday 2nd September. The event starts at 19:00.

Fish Tank is a monthly open mic for the unpolished, newly crafted, and the experimental. Starting in September, every first Wednesday of the month The Island basement will make space for Bristol’s creatives.

If you’ve ever wanted a space to just try your work outside the confines of your mind and to share it with an open and welcoming audience, this is your chance.

We are open to spoken word, song, poetry, experimental sounds, and anything new.

This is a trial run for this series, and if successful or a community forms, we can continue holding space for it!

Join in on the first Wednesday of every month, starting in September.
Drop in, no fee.

Located in the basement of The Island, with the River Avon flowing directly underneath our feet.

Bridewell St, Bristol BS1 2QD

Please note The Island basement is not fully accessible as access is via a flight of steps. Please see https://artspace.uk/venue/the-island/venue/ for the location details and accessibility document.
