☁ Autumn is upon us and once again the streets are paved with gold, red and green. As the days become shorter, and nights longer, the great British tradition of conkers takes centre-stage in every household. Following last years reception Bristol has been reselected to host this years World Cup tournement.

We are delighted to announce the date and location for the 2016 Conkers World Cup at the Jam Jar, Bristol.

This event is FREE, but feel free to leave a donation for the space.

The event will consist of a conker making workshop, festive food, a conkers tournament with live commentry and an awards ceremony. Musical entertainment and refreshments will be provided throughout.

The schedule of the event will be released closer to the date.

Whilst external conkers are permitted, any tampering may lead to disqualification.

Tampering may include but is not limited to:
The use of varnish, cement or resins,
The use of vinegar,
Heat treating.
