A event on Tuesday 26th September. The event starts at 19:00.

Who makes poetry films? What skills do you need to be a poetry filmmaker? This month Poetry Film Club looks at the range of creative practice shown by current poetry filmmakers.

Some poetry filmmakers create films which mirror cinema, and contain characters and storyboading. Others with a background in visual art, poetry, photography, typography or performance take a different approach.

Curators Helen Dewbery and Lucy English will screen a range of poetry films from across these disciplines and invite you to discuss your responses.

This event is hosted by Poetry Film Live and Satellite of Love and supported by Lyra Bristol Poetry Festival.
