Borderlands conversations continue at The Launderette, 145 Cheltenham Road, Stokes Croft, BS6 5RR
See event details

A event on Wednesday 14th May. The event starts at 18:00.

Featuring the work of Alexis Papatzaneteas, Alex Cadle and Luka Cvetkovich the Borderlands conversations continue.

Borderlands considers our relationship to our environments. How we interact with the landscapes, the terrain and our positioning with nature. The works delve back to our shared connections with our histories, our land, and ourselves. The works explore the boundaries of space, and speculate about the futures to come. Between conversations of borders, of natural materials and storytelling, themes of identity, memory and time begin to surface.

Interviews with Borderlands artists explores how art and practice can speak to the ways in which we inhabit and navigate spaces. We invite the viewer to leave written reflections of what Borderlands could mean to them to build discussions between the artists and the wider community.
