This week at your comedy local, we welcome one of our absolute favourite acts who we thought we'd lost when she moved away last year. But good God almighty, Amy Howerska's back in Ol' Blighty.

Non-TV famous, non-award-winning comic Amy Howerska returns with another show because she has not yet learnt her lesson. Through a series of errors (love), Howerska has accidentally found herself Californian. As her friends beg her “Not to get all American”, Howerska knows that she will never be that confident. But she’s made some loltastic stories out of it; you know, “American’s are like this and Brits are like ‘ello Governor” sort of comedy, but not rubbish. And while regular host, The Cranky Yank, Tony is away, she'll be free to proper take the piss out of the place. Yee-haw!

A BBC Writers Room Writer. As heard on BBC Radio 4 and In your local shop buying Wotsits. “Sardonic, charismatic and teasing” THE SCOTSMAN

Local legends abound to round out the bill. And hosted this week by the beluga caviar of the comedic guitar, the man, the muppet, David Hoare.

Upstairs. 18+.

Six quid.
