It's been a whole year since we last welcomed the mighty punnoiseur himself - Mr DARREN WALSH!
He hasn't exactly sat around for the past year though, anything but. At 2014's Leicester Comedy Festival DARREN WALSH won the UK Pun Championship and by the end of the year he had gone on to publish his first book with Random House containing over 1000 jokes. With more gags per minute than pretty much anyone else we can think of, we are very much looking forward to spending time in his company again.
Supporting Darren will be a host of our favourite acts from the South West.
Motormouth JON WAGSTAFFE is naturally funny, very quick and quite possibly the greatest living comedian (from Tewkesbury). A previous headliner at the Lazy Dog, Jon will be performing a mixture of new material and a few greatest hits.
Previous winner of the Chortle Student Comedy Award, JACK HEAL is one of our favourite local acts. Razor sharp complex gags are his trademark.
From our very own ALICE MATTHEWS you can expect a set of left-field, charming and sparklingly funny observations.
If that wasn't enough, we'll be offering one new comic the chance to make his debut on our stage. We won't name him here in case he takes the sane option and declines to perform!
