Checkpoint: Preview New Black Comedy!

— The Lightship Theatre (Bathurst Basin)
Exclusive Pre Edinburgh Fringe Bristol Preview of 'Checkpoint'
time:19:30
price: Headfirst Tickets

Information:

Exclusive preview of Startled Cat! Theatre's debut black-comedy Checkpoint, in partnership with the brilliant and unique Lightship Theatre (A theatre on an old lightship, it's amazing!). Checkpoint unravels the concept of hard borders, shining a light on the psyche of those who uphold them with a savage sense of humour to boot! This is a your opportunity to be among the first to see the brilliantly funny Checkpoint ahead of its Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut in August.

But what's it about I hear you ask? Well, in a time of hard borders and systematic segregation, an enigmatic stranger Roman, arrives at Checkpoint-4 and attempts to bluff and bribe his way past two incompetent border-guards. Daredevil tourist or die-hard terrorist? Could the answer lie concealed in the contents of his curiously cumbersome trunk? If you're not a stranger to taking a shot in the dark, then do not miss out on this unmissable black satire!
