Suburban Home Promotions presents:
WORLD'S BEST DAD
Unstoppable punk rock trio from Bristol that are the musical embodiment of high-fiving your pals.
World's Best Dad began making their unstoppable brand of punk-rock noise around Bristol in late 2013. Two stellar EP's were followed by the seminal full-length 'There's Nothing Around Here Anymore' in December 2016, which was recorded at Bristol's Invada Studios. A live experience not to be missed - if you dig high-octane infectious riffs, explosive drumming and joyous, jugular vocals then World's Best Dad may well be your new best friends.
Punk rock band from London, feat members of Dissociates and The Holiday Plan, so you know Party Boss are gonna be awesome! Track soon to be released for upcoming E.P.
Plymouth quartet, Tripper, have been making ripples with their potent, restless brand of post-punk for three years. Raised on a steady diet of Fugazi, Trail Of Dead and Constantines, the band revel in the melodically awkward while always remembering to deliver a sonic gut-punch at just the right time. With ex/members of The Once Over Twice, The Bedroom Project, Brunel and Crazy Arm on board, there's no shortage of sub-pop nous here, resulting in the kind of forward-thinking, angular rock'n'roll that could easily slip into a Dischord Records distro.
Tripper have a five-song EP, 'Taut Orchestras', up on Bandcamp with another seven-song mini-album currently under construction at PMC Studios in Plymouth. They have also just recorded nine songs in collaboration with the legendary Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE, The Stooges), who flew over from Germany to work with the band for a weekend. Mike has been a fan since they supported him in Exeter in 2017.
