A gig on Sunday 17th January. The event starts at 18:30.
FREE ENTRY. For the first time in the longest while, a specially curated evening of live ambient music graces the stage at The Lion BS5, Bristol early next year. So for the perfect end to a wintery weekend, come join us for an exploration of tech-driven textural tones, long-form cinematic soundscapes and shimmering walls of ambient sound. Welcome to volume one of Ambientology. Let's meet our sonic sherpas.
Matthew Richards - Bristol-based composer known for creating experimental ambient and minimal classical sound collages using found sound, fm synthesis-driven soundscapes and traditional classical instrumentation. Expect a blend of carefully considered sonic oddities, some planned, some improvised.
