Emily Magpie Album Launch in Indoor Forest at Loco Klub

Emily Magpie's debut album 'Let's Talk About the Weather' (after Covid delays) launches inside an immersive forest & projected visuals in The Loco Klub. This full band show invites you to dance amongst the trees to wavy bass lines and lyrical exploration of who we are and where our planet may be headed. With Pahla as support and DJ set from Sydney til 1.30am. Selling 150 tickets, planting 150 trees- with each ticket sold you receive a tree to plant. "swooping, creepy swirls of electronics..." - DIY Emily Magpie is a dream pop artist and producer from Bristol creating glittering spacial soundscapes with songwriting delving into different dimensions. Championed by the likes of Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6, Earmilk and Mahogany. Spending the last few years playing solo as a support act for artists such as This Is The Kit and Let’s Eat Grandma, and everywhere from Green Man Festival and Boomtown Festival in the UK she returns in 2021 with a dynamic + exciting full band experience which has already played several sold out headline shows including Sebright Arms this year. PAHLA Melding elements of Future Soul and Progressive Jazz, Pahla forge both the epic and the intimate; weaving deep velveteen vocals with nostalgia drenched keys and binding together melodically rich bass with thunderously tight percussion. SYDNEY (DJ) The latest signing from Black Acre and graduate of Gilles Peterson’s Future Bubbler program, Sydney is Bristol based producer merging world sounds with loose earthy beats. Expect to dance and get loose til the small hours.
