How Do We Halt Harassment? at Loco Klub

A event held at Loco Klub on Tuesday 30th July. The event starts at 19:00.

This open discussion will look at what problems we are facing as venues/promoters/organisers and attendees of Bristol nightlife.

How can we strategise, support and communicate across our different roles and venues to ensure they are safe, welcoming spaces that are also confident in holding others accountable?

Tickets are free but needed for entry - available via Headfirst Bristol.

We'll have 3 short presentations from people in the industry who have been looking at this subject from different perspectives:

Ngaio Anyia - Art of Discussion Manager and Booty Bass DJ/Promoter
The Plough Inn, Easton
Leighton De Burca - LGBTQ+ Activist

Followed by dinner and discussions where everyone will have a chance to talk about what concerns we have, problems we face and ideas on how to move forward. Each table will have its own theme with everyone invited to rotate to share their insight on each area.

This will be the first in a series of discussion dinners to identify the problems as a collective and continue a conversation where we can all support and move forward together.

Please pass this onto anyone you think would be interested - in the industry and outside of it - to get as many diverse opinions in the room as possible.

See you there!
