"People Like Us" are super hyped and all sorts of excited to announce Bedmo Disco as our special guests for our next A party for and by....!
Bedmo Disco are a DJ/production outfit based in Bristol, who have been bringing the best of disco, groove and boogie to Bristol for some years now and we are delighted we are gonna be visited by the whole Bedmo Team!
What's even more exciting is that we have a NEW SOUNDSYSTEM AND EXTENDED LICENSE TIL 4AM....which should pave the way for the full Disco and filthy bass artillery to be unleashed into the early hours ! :)
If you don't knows alreadys, Bedmo Disco comprises of Sell By Dave, Five-Stylez and Awon, all having vast experience as DJs, and record collections to match. Their collections take in everything from jazz, hip-hop, proper house, techno, garage, dubstep, drum and bass and broken beat to calypso, folk, rare rock, post-punk, ambient, Afrobeat, Latin grooves and, of course, all forms of disco, soul and funk past, present and future. As DJs, they've played all over the world (well, in Europe and Australia) as well as the UK. They hold a bi-monthly residency at the Big Chill Bristol and also host the'Giraffe Boogie' parties at Start The Bus in Bristol.
Warm-up: Audio Trump - a member of the now legendary festival band"Magic Drum Orchestra", kicks off the evening with his love of of samba, afrobeat and funk rhythms all mixed into a delightful cocktail of feel good music that will get you shaking your hips the moment you walk through the door of the enchanting Looking Glass
