A clubnight held at The Love Inn on Saturday 31st October. The event starts at 22:00.
We're back at The Love Inn for our annual Halloween spook fest
Joining us this year is Fold aka Fold Palmer - a London producer shaped by his teenage immersion in pirate radio, raving and record collecting during the late 90s and early 2000s. A resident at Rinse FM, his show takes listeners through early 00s tech house, dark garage rollers and percussive house cuts, dug out with the kind of depth only a decade-plus in music can offer, a mix archive that shows just how wide his understanding of electronic music runs.. He's built a name for eclectic back-to-back sets with longtime friend Joy Orbison, co-runs East London's Well Street Records, and more recently launched his own label FLDIN2, home to his output for the last three years and proof he's now one of the leading names in garage. He's played everywhere from Glastonbury to Berghain, Fabric and Manchester's Warehouse Project, supported Overmono on tour.
Alongside him is Bristol native Caragh, whose refined, percussive brand of UK-leaning techno has made her a regular fixture on the local circuit. An alumnus of the Saffron Records radio broadcasting course, she found her way into mixing with the guidance of Danielle (Mix Nights, Soft Raw), sharpening an already sharp ear into a genuine ability to steer a room. She's shared bills with the Livity Sound crew and played Glastonbury and Love International, and she builds a dancefloor from the ground up better than most.
Rounding it out is a Club Djembe institution: DJ Polo b2b DJ Stolen. Local knowledge, shared instinct, no fear of the unexpected - exactly what a Halloween b2b should be.
Costumes encouraged.
