NoMoreAllMaleLineups addresses inequality in the music scene, of men (usually cis, straight and white) being given opportunities over non men. This occurs all through the music industry from barriers learning to play music, being booked, getting into production and having your songs played.
We seek to uplift and platform the huge breadth and diversity of non-male talent that we know exists. This includes women, non binary, trans and intersex people who identify as non male.
Trans women are women, trans men are men and gender non conforming people exist. They always have and always will. NMAMLU was founded by a trans person, and we will always seek intersectional equity and justice. This includes making our spaces safe for trans people, educating and raising awareness and calling out people when needed.
