Bristol's brand new dub sound, CGC Sound System, is the sister project to Chewing Glass Collective: One of Bristol’s premium up and coming extreme metal acts.

CGC’s founder, Dan, says “Having been in bands since my teens, I was unsatisfied with the restrictions that being in a regular band brings. I wanted an excuse to pursue all my musical loves under one name and that’s why forming a collective made so much sense, that's how Chewing Glass Collective was born!”

Dan went on to say:

“Dub has always had a very special place in my heart, and this is why we teamed up with Tim Hackett of Southampton’s Headsessions Sound System: To bring you all our favorite heavyweight dubs, steppas and bass music at teeth shaking volumes!”

Tim Hackett’s years of experience, gained from being at the helm of Headsessions Sound System, has helped mold CGC Sound System’s signature sub sonic growl into something that is far beyond other ½ stack rigs.

Having already set up and performed at the prestigious St Pauls Carnival, along with numerous other nights around Bristol under their belt, CGC Sound System is one to look out for.
