For those who do not know, Zaatari Radio is an innovative humanitarian project, creating a refugee run radio station amongst the war affected community living in Zaatari, Jordan. We're proud to have such strong representation within the Bristol music community, and further afield with Árni's debut in the town, and the money raised will go directly to supporting a community-led radio station in Zaatari, Jordan. Zaatari Radio is established to broadcast refugee relevant information, bring together the war-affected population and host community, and provide a platform for musicians living in the area.
To their dismay Zaatari Radio team will unable to attend this fundraiser as they are out in Jordan working on the Radio, but the money raised through the event goes directly to the project and to empowering war affected communities living in Jordan.
