Princess Nokia + Tkay Maidza at The Marble Factory
Event Cancelled

A gig held at The Marble Factory on Tuesday 17th November. The event starts at 19:30.

Destiny Frasqueri is known for her no-holds-barred approach to her artistry. Performing as her alter-ego Princess Nokia, the New York-based rapper creates energetic, inspiring songs that cover everything from intersectional feminism to growing up in foster care. As a tireless cheerleader of those that feel out of place, Frasqueri has amassed a cult following of fans who saw something of themselves in her super-narrative songwriting.

Reissuing her 2014 album ‘Metallic Butterfly’ on Rough Trade in 2018, Princess Nokia continues to be the perfect example of creating the kind of music that’s way ahead of its time.
