FingerPrince & Friends

FingerPrince & Friends at Moon Club

A clubnight held at Moon Club on Friday 18th December. The event starts at 22:00.

FingerPrince & Friends | One Year at the Moon Club

The last Friday before Christmas. While the rest of the city navigates the festive chaos, we are celebrating 12 months in the Moon Club doing exactly what we set out to do.

Our parties are built specifically for spaces like this: small, dark, and smoky, no phones on the dancefloor, house music parties as they are meant to be. Expect the signature FingerPrince sound—minimal, raw, jacking house laced with wonky acid and the deep, twisted grooves of Chicago, New York, and Detroit.

The concept remains the same—we only bring genuine label friends and high-level underground selectors to the booth.

For our first birthday in Moon Club, we’re flying in Ibiza-based Bart Ricardo. A core part of the FingerPrince team and a resident DJ for Justin Harris’s legendary Music For Freaks parties in Ibiza, Bart brings pure underground house heritage. He’s always commanded deep respect from Chicago pioneers like Derrick Carter and Roy Davis Jr., having established himself with hit releases on labels like Gene Farris’ Farris Wheel and Tango. Right now he’s making serious noise with recent releases on both Music For Freaks and FingerPrince Recordings picking up heavy support across the scene. He also curates our label parties at the quirky underground Paradise Lost, Ibiza.

Alongside him is the South West's own Lil' Mark, playing Bristol for the first time since his headline set at Duvet Vous earlier this year. Best described as an uncompromising underground house music artist, his pedigree runs deep—spending months in Chicago hanging with his biggest influences: Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, and Gemini. Building a flawless catalogue on foundational imprints like Classic and MFF, Hot Creations and more. Mark helped define a specific sub-genre of eccentric, bumpy, and stripped-back underground house that dominated the early 2000s and remains heavily influential. Recent drops on MiniBar and Salon Records (collaborating with Jason Hodges) have been doing serious damage, pulling massive support and recognition from Honey Dijon, Satoshi Tomiie, and Danny Tenaglia.

Stepping up to the Friends list for the first time is another trusted local selector, Emilio Balman. A dedicated supporter of our label's music, Emilio is walking the exact same paths that inspired our crew back in the day—leading to a rapid rise hitting line ups at parties and venues across the city.

FingerPrince residents Solo (Acid & Oddities, MFF) and Freeman (Dismantle) return to complete the line up for our first birthday at Moon Club.

Our "Friends" ethos is all about the dancefloor. We already have a solid community of local party people signed up from our previous nights at the Moon Club, and we look after the people who are in it for the right reasons. Joining the Friends List gets you first release on tickets, random guest list invites, and access to secret, invite-only events. It’s how we guarantee our parties stay proper, intimate, and underground.
