Emergent Men: The Hero's Quest at The Mount Without
Tickets via Ticket Tailor in description

A event held at The Mount Without on Sunday 2nd April. The event starts at 10:00.

What does it mean to be a hero? What does it mean to be a man?

Echos of your ancestors ripple into your everyday life, they leave memories of courage, pain, love, joy and loss. These memories encoded into your DNA guide you each day to navigate this "strange" world. Even with these memories you have the choice of experience and the means to make your own path. The hardest part is just showing up and taking that step forward.

Congratulations on taking that step forwards..

Now the questions are...

How do you decide what it means to be a man? How do you show up for yourself, your friends, and your family in the best way that you can? For too long men have carried and passed on the weight of masculine trauma that seeks to hurt and offend. The time for the new heroes of this age has come. The time to reawaken the divine masculine has come. You are a warrior of light. A new man emerges.

Are you ready to venture on your Hero's Quest?

Emergent Men invite you to a full-day transformational experience held at The Mount Without to dive into the depths of our masculine structures and uplift the hero within. Focusing on both our individual and relational experiences, we will go through a series of exercises, practises and sharing over the day and culminate with a feast to celebrate as kings.

This is your opportunity to share, to heal and to grow; to step up as a man into recognition of your sacred self. We are excited for you to join us on this experience and lovingly anticipate welcoming you into the space.

Who are The Emergent Men?

'Emergent Men' is a collective formed with the purpose to inspire and guide men into a transformative process of self-development. Every month we work through different themes of the masculine experience and involve a series of different activities and exercises to invoke deep healing and growth from each session. Each facilitator holds a unique speciality and offerings, such as meditation, yoga, breathwork, somatic practices, counselling and body-work, with each inspired by deep work on the divine masculine and providing the Emergent Men Brotherhood with a holistic and uniquely held experience.

George Sargent-Childs - George is a yoga teacher and holder of sacred space, he has been working with men for the past 3 years on a deep journey into understanding masculinity. George has completed training in the facilitation of sacred space with Jote Prakash Singh Kalsa, and co-opening a centre for yoga and meditation in January 2020 with Wazee Walks. George also holds a degree in philosophy and works as a teacher of Religion and Worldviews in school. (@movefastmoveslow)
