Greater Than Lion is a new work choreographed by Kennedy Junior Muntanga in collaboration with Designer Mathilde Heu and Composer Tommy Khosla. Inspired by Alexander McCall Smith's Greater Than Lion, from the book The Girl Who Married A Lion and the biblical tale of Jonah and The Whale, this work explores themes of Love, Youth, Rebirth, Death and Grief through two young lovers, Kirra and Nebu.
"Kennedy is a truly exceptional dancer, having performed with some of the top choreographers and companies in the UK (Akram Khan, Bob Cohan, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Phoenix Dance Theatre) in his short time since graduating Join us for an evening in the beautiful setting of The Mount Without to experience this new piece of work, with an ensemble of incredibly physical and expressive dancers."
