"Rhythmically complex but effortlessly intuitive, Fulton’s ability to create oddball techno that sweats soul and wayward disco licks is unparalleled and it is no surprise he’s become an early-hours favourite for Dimensions Festival and Farr Festival. Analogue house heavyweights Dungeon Meat and Pondlife complete Friday’s line-up. Last tickets: Track: -IkFiwvI"

A
clubnight
held at The Old Crown Courts
on Friday 10th November. The event starts at 22:00pm.
The bar has been set very high for our Autumn series, after Tim Sweeney, Red Rack'em, Nancy Noise and Folamour lead a 14 hour musical marathon at our Day & Night Party. For our next workout we've got a special lineup for you, with our only repeat offender to date and a saucy Bristol debut. You know the drill.
Maurice Fulton //
-
AKA Syclops AKA Those Guys AKA Basement Boys AKA BOOF
-
It's testament to Maurice's musical temperament that he is our first repeat booking. He is one of the most varied producers to grace this earth, under his vast array of aliases. Others share our deep admiration, with FACT magazine crediting him as the creator of the world's most devastating dance floor cuts, and his low slung disco sets have similarly raw appeal. This Summer, Resident Advisor listed his set at Dimensions in their *Top 5* of the festival - with that kind of lineup that's not a statement to underestimate... For those of you lucky enough to have caught him slapping the Marble Factory in the face with his raw disco goodness back in March, just imagine what he can do with a headline slot at our favourite venue...
Dungeon Meat //
(Brawther & Tristan da Cunha)
-
This coalition of dancefloor destruction comprises Parisian House afficionado and My Love Is Underground key player Brawther, with Leeds based tough house dervish Tristan da Cunha. They headlined Sunday night with Masters at Work at Glastonbury's 'The NYC Downlow', and Da Cunha was lauded by headlining the secret stage at the inaugural Houghton festival, known for his penchant for underground parties. The pairing's alias Dungeon Meat is a homage dancefloor music at its purest. They play the most robust club cuts around and their label to boot, releases the likes of Mr G, Point G and more. They will be taking on an a 4hr set in the cells. Butcher's aprons advised, it's gonna get stanky...
POND LIFE
-
New label from Leeds Pond Life are doing exciting things. Partly composed of the head honchos of intimate and lauded Leeds party NORD, this group of aficionados are not only first class selectors, but also love to throw a wide variety of live instrumentation in with their DJ sets, making every gig unique. The entire gang are sublime musicians with tastes varied enough for them to throw in everything from Funk through Jazz to Techno into their sets. They'll get your grooving and they'll get you smiling; some of the nicest cats on the scene.
