Grave Danger & Cougar Mingus at The Old England Pub
See event details

A gig held at The Old England Pub on Friday 19th September. The event starts at 20:00.

JOaN SMiTH & the JaNE DOeS

Joan Smith & the Jane Does are a Canadian fuzz-filled, femme-rock dance machine with cutting vocals that amp up to the edge of sanity, pulsing rock beats and relentless guitars which remind noted radio personality and music historian Jeff Woods of ‘Queens of the Stone Age with Stevie Nicks vocals’.

The Jane Does are leaving an indelible mark on Canada’s rock scene. They’ve quickly earned a place in the alt rock landscape. Their debut full length album, “Do Me Some Harm”, was mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures).

GRAVE DANGER
The Grave Danger are a robot-rock outfit from the South West of England piloted by brothers Stos & Miti Goneos. Hypnotic growling bass riffs, glitched out guitar, a synth from outer space and unhinged vocals with a stomping drum machine.

"Souped-up stomping synth-fuelled rock that hits you straight in the dancing shoes."
