Mirrored Lips (Russia)
On the face of it you could quiet easily label these three Russian ladies who are playing guitar based music as riot grrrl.
To my ears they managed to combine the weird pop sensabilities of Kleenex, tight punk grooves of As Mercenárias or Delta 5 while managing the more loose feel of English post punk acts such as The Fall and PIL.

This Newcastle based trio play great little Touch and Go recordings style ditties - you know the discordant kind, which you want to move your arse to that starts and stops without the beards and wanky algebra you associate with math rock....
Recent Killing Nico EP had the trio throwing in elements of early Swans dirge, creepy David Lynch vibes and Ennio Morricone making a pasta salad in the background.

New album/book combo - Perverted Tales, a fan fiction compendium by The Pervlets (Pervert fans) and horror soundtrack by The Perverts, will be released in Spring 2017.
