So the nice boys at Liquid Library are releasing a tape of my solo doodlings... it's called 'Lightkeeper' and totally worth getting a cassette player for. I guess this is a launch of sorts then, but only a modest one, and all the other acts are awesome so let's have a jolly old time.
Free entry, donations welcome! Music from 8 or so...
Currently in a single-human incarnation, SALTINGS creates pastoral-horror-soundscapes, tentatively addressing the unknown areas of existence that lie just around the next turn, or beyond the corner of your eye. Controlled spaces of darkness, preying on their audience, luring them into a world full of endless black horizons and whispering, half-dreamed creatures.
Stereocilia is Bristol based guitarist and composer, John Scott. John uses his guitar, analog synths and live looping techniques to create dense, rich layers of sound. John has warned that on this occasion he will do 'something crayzer' than his usual sets, that may involve 'sh***ing myself'.
A second live outing of analog, digital and DIY electronics from Chris Menes, one half of Satnav. Expect soundscape experimentation and glitchy synth abstractions.
