A night of party-starting, filthy heavy, raucous and powerfully entertaining music...

Brighton based noise-meddling, loud riff machine LOWER SLAUGHTER are back at The Old England, with a dreamy unmissable line-up.

Supported by 2-piece provocateurs ACID CANNIBALS, and the recently returned, Bristol famed 2-piece POHL.

Loudness from Brighton and Glasgow! Debut LP 'What Big Eyes' out now on Box Records.

The four-piece describe themselves modestly as a band “who make loud riffs” though we at Box Records think the The Quietus description of “lurching noise-rock that occasionally works the angles but is chiefly a showpiece for big fuck-off riffs that call to mind Pissed Jeans, Nirvana and Harvey Milk” is more accurate.

Lower Slaughter are now positioned at opposite ends of the UK, but they're persevering - a relief as they are one of the most unique noise rock bands to have appeared in the past five years.

Acid Cannibals

Brand new two-piece / power duo / Buckfast-powered bastard riff machine featuring members of psych luminaries The Cosmic Dead and gutter-grindcore crew DROVES. Expect riffs-upon-riffs, booze-fuelled mayhem and an approach to song craft like ZZ Top in a prison riot. Think half of Bad Guys, but on a really, really bad day. We’re massively chuffed to be promoting their debut London show.

Debut 7” EP, ‘Why Not Every Night’ out now via At War With False Noises Records.

Bristol heroes POHL return….

The duo draw on a wide range of influences, from thrash, prog and psychedelic rock to hardcore punk, stoner and grunge, all while remaining uncompromisingly experimental and original.

2012 saw them earn a reputation for their intense live shows and gain critical praise for debut EP ‘POHLSMOKER’, recorded as a two piece. In late 2013 they were joined by Hugo Morgan (The Heads/Kandodo) for the recording of a second EP, POHL II. The trio gigged extensively throughout 2014 before imploding by the year's end.

All was silent until early 2017, when Jamie and Will quietly reconvened and began writing an ambitious new full-length LP. Older and wiser but no less intense, the duo have returned to their primitive roots for an album of mind-melting, bad-trip noise rock that realises their nightmarish vision more completely than ever before.
