The Cat Magic create a breezy yet hypnotising wall of sound using interlocking guitar melodies that smoulder against a backdrop of deep synth pads. Think the spacious hooks of Tame Impala and punctuality of Real Estate. The coming together of The Cat Magic stemmed from a hard drive full of song demos recorded by Laurence Matone over a number of years. Bedroom project turned fully functioning live band, this is no lo-fi indie outing.
