Oscar Jones + Dogsbody + Dan Pacini at The Old England Pub

A gig held at The Old England Pub on Wednesday 19th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Oscar Jones

Recognised in the Bristol underground scene, Oscar Jones is known for his prolific songwriting and storytelling. He and his band create a raw wall of sound with janky guitars and naive sing-singalongs, which is both alarming and disarming. FFO Tom Waits, Michael Hurley, Belle and Sebastian.

Dogsbody

The brainchild of Mimi Jones, whose songwriting has been likened to Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley, Dogsbody's timefolded songs are confessional and sophisticated-ly simple. This evening, Dogsbody brings you an intimate performance accompanied by heavenly strings.

Dan Pacini

Dan Pachini is spread thinly between the city of Bristol and a village in Gloucestershire. He draws into his songwriting characters caught in the middle, scenery split in two, and information imported from the internet. He is accompanied by his guitar, harmonica and sometimes his friends as well.

Entry requirements: 18+
