Hello, it has been a while. Below The Belt is returning and presenting a sweaty gig with some local favourites and something a little bit more Northern.
KIOSK
Leeds based electronic duo that make dance-punk influenced by the city's diverse DIY scene. Their sound shifts between postpunk inflected dance beats, dreamy soundscapes and pounding techno noise, combining drum machines and analogue synthesis with raw lyrics and effects-heavy bass.
Emerging from the basements of Leeds where they DJed parties and played house shows with previous punk and electronic projects, 2025 saw Kiosk billed alongside other prominent Leeds bands like English Teacher, Fuzz Lightyear, Bugteeth, and good pals Bathing Suits, as well as the likes of Mermaid Chunky and Silverwingkiller.
On 17th February, Kiosk release two new singles on 12” vinyl.
Hum Drum - 5-piece band crafting an evolving fusion of neo-jazz, experimental rock, and poetic surrealism. Their music weaves through different genres — however there’s always vulnerability and volatility, polished chaos and deliberate imperfection.
Limited Ltd - a DIY femme-led punk outfit hailing from Bristol. Creating passionate, political music about experiences of isolation, discrimination and disadvantage.
