NYE @THE OLD E! 8PM until 3AM!

Its the end of a great year of awesome music from the Bristol music scene, so why not continue new traditions into the new year with yet another Community Jam NYE event at the home of our weekly jam night and monthly day events, The Old E!

We set off where we started with local up and coming and first time bands, solo artists and DJs!

SURFACE AIR
- From the splintering bone-ashes of progressive rock and post-punk, springs a rare bird of uncertain breed. Featuring Kilian Lee (WINDSHAKE, Eve Appleton Band) on vocals and guitar, Oli Cocup (My Octopus Mind, Lawi Anywar) on drums and Joe Williams (Jakabol, Foxwhelp) on bass, Surface Air are poised to unleash aural intoxicating unto the unsuspecting and the good in 2026 and beyond.

PLANTSFORSALE
- Plants for Sale are a group that consistently bend the definition of a band, with shifting lineups, costumes and textures that spread them across a wide spectrum of genres. The Plants use their collective voice to raise awareness of environmental and societal issues, over a platter of riffs and psychedelic sounds.

GUMDROP
- "Originally formed in Southampton, Bristol-based gumdrop create post-punk and shoegaze inspired sounds their own way. You’ll find an electrifying blend of fuzzy, stargazing guitars, ice cold bass lines and industrial, synthesised melodies, all guided by punching drum beats.

Consisting of four members, the band have previously supported the likes of Heavy Lungs, Lumer, HAAL, Spilt, and Alien Chicks, also having played Wanderlust Festival in 2024.

WINDSHAKE

We aim to provide a platform for grassroots musicians to perform on stages, network with other musicians and establish themselves within the Bristol scene. We love music that pushes boundaries and carves its own path, breaking norms and causing storms with creativity and passion.
