A
gig
on Saturday 29th January. The event starts at 20:00.
MILLION WAY- Live drums, electric bass and a veritable nerd array combine to bring the noise to the grand reopening of The Old Firestation. This energetic trio specialize in electro house chunkiness- expect filthy basslines, jackin beats, analogue synth riffery and an all round storming party. Plus we're all really nice chaps!
You'll generally find PROTEST CRAYON under the cushions of the sofa with the crumbs of biscuits or behind the lawnmower in the garage tinkering with a dusty finger piano or snare drum. Thankfully Mum has found them now and has put them in the front room properly, and they're ready to play gigs in front of proper people and everything. Neil has got all loads of instruments and Paul has got a big grin and lots of bounce, together they force LCD Soundsytem to kiss Elbow with Steve Reich filming - in other words, a harmonically personable showburst what makes people do claphands and shout and smile.
DJ LUMEN- He likes to make things. To look at and listen to. Deep n housey into all out party-bass tomfoolery.
