See event details

A gig held at The Old Market Assembly on Friday 28th January. The event starts at 22:00.

Join us for a night bedecked in tartan and tam o’shanters, where whisky flows and floorboards shake, all in celebration of Scotland’s favourite son, Robert Burns. Included with each ticket is a Dram of whisky to get everyone in the spirit for a boogie! Bristol's very own Folk ambassadors Tarren and Nick Hart will be providing the soundtrack to the evening. Tarren - Through the incorporation of minimalist musical forms into traditional-inspired material, Tarren is producing music that draws the listener in, weaving intricate themes throughout tunes and songs that have the pulse of British folk music at its heart. Nick Hart - Nick Hart is a singer and multi-instrumentalist specialising in English traditional music. As well as being a solo performer, he has played in the band Oss with Tom Moore and John Dipper and has featured on several recordings by other artists.
