Bristol Perspectives is screening the film Little Tickles at the Old Picture House on the 16th of February 2024. The screening will be followed by an hour of discussion for those who are willing to hear and debate ideas about the film. Drinks can be bought at the bar inside the venue in cash. Entry fee: £5 all the money is going to fund this screening and the next.

Synopsis : Odette looks back on her childhood in which a family friend abused her. In order to give her trauma a place as an adult, she puts all her pain and anger into her dance, so that she can get on with her life.

In this film Andrea Bescond ( French filmmaker ) who was a professional dancer looks back at her life through a conversation with her therapist that makes her travel back into her memories in a funny , fresh and very visual experience where the audience can realise how much a dance can express.

Please come along with friends as attendance will secure the possibility to do more of these evenings that explore a rare cinema and enjoy these moments of connection.
