See event details

A event on Friday 20th October. The event starts at 19:30.

Step into the wonderfully wacky universe of Quentin Dupieux, the French director renowned for crafting absurd and hilarious comedies!

Prepare yourself for a riot of kitsch, bad taste, and comic gore as we present to you a surreal comedy masterpiece: "Smoking Causes Coughing." In this offbeat adventure, you'll meet five Power Rangers-esque heroes, collectively known as the Tobacco Force, who harness the bizarre power of tobacco's "negative energy" to combat the forces of evil. But that's not all! Their enigmatic leader, a rat with a penchant for womanising, decides to whisk the team away on a retreat for some truly outlandish team-building experiences.

As you settle in for this wild cinematic journey, expect campfire stories that transport you to a world brimming with comic gore and populated by a cast of eccentric creatures. It's madder than a bag of cats and an uproarious rollercoaster you won't want to miss!

The Old Picture House in Totterdown is a cinematic time capsule that has been brought back to life. This charming venue, with its vintage decor and antique furniture, exudes a nostalgic atmosphere that takes you back to the golden age of cinema.

A mini bar serves drinks and non-alcoholic beverages. CASH ONLY.

Doors open at 6.30pm and screening starts at 7.30pm.
